Ellen is a counseling psychology doctoral student at New Mexico State University.

 

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in religious studies.

 

Her current research interests include social justice and advocacy, spirituality, sexuality, and how experiences of marginalization and oppression associated with socio-cultural identities, and their intersections, affect mental health and well-being.

 

She ismore specifically interested in the experiences and mental health of Black women.
